IV. Combining With Other Therapies
________________________
DEFINITION
Massage is manipulation of body tissues by rubbing, kneading or tapping. It can be done with the hands or with an instrument or machine.
Massage is an ancient form of physical therapy that can be very helpful for relaxation, healing and development. It is also a way to obtain touch, either with oneself, with a partner, or with a professional. It can also be a form of social interaction.
Massage is a large topic. This article specifically discusses its use with the development program.
DANGERS OF MASSAGE
While it can be beneficial, massage has several serious problems. These cause us to hesitate to recommend massage unless you do it to yourself or if you have a partner or close friend who will do it at home, not in an office. The problems include
1. Cleanliness because any time one touches another, it is easy to transmit diseases through the skin or even through clothing.
2. Safety. Touching others is always a little sexy and can arouse the passions. It can also condition a person to a lot of touch, which can open a person to abuse.
3. Entities. Anytime people are very close, especially for a few minutes or more, discarnate entities – souls or creatures - jump from one person to the other. They can be quite dangerous.
4. Mixing your energy with that of others.
NOTE ABOUT PROFESSIONAL MASSAGE: We suggest doing massage on oneself or with a friend or partner at home. We do not recommend professional massage due to the problems listed above.
USE OF MACHINES TO ASSIST MASSAGE
Using an electric massager has definite advantages: It is less tiring than kneading body tissue by hand. It is also cleaner because there is less body contact. It is also less sexy, at least for the person giving the massage.
I wrap an electric massager in a pillow case for cleanliness and because some of them can pinch the skin.
Massage machines are excellent for muscular areas of the body. I also use one gently on my feet, head, ears and elsewhere, where there are reflex systems of the body. They can be used anywhere if you are careful with them.
Which machine to use. I have several massagers and I use one or more of them every day on myself. They include a Thumper Sport and Thumper Mini-pro.
These are similar machines. Both have two massage heads and work well. Speed is variable. If they break, you can buy parts. If you don't want to pay full price, you can often find a used one at Ebay.com or other auction sites.
I also have a Thumper Professional. It is a larger, heavier machine with eight massage heads. It will do your entire abdomen or back at once. However, it is less comfortable and easier to cause an injury.
The Thumper machines heat up and can only be used for about 20 minutes at a time. Then they need to cool down.
I also have a Renpho massager, but they break more easily and the company will not sell parts. It is powered by a rechargeable battery and has only one head.
There are many other electric massagers that one can buy.
Cautions. Massagers are powerful tools and can cause soft tissue injury. They must always be used carefully and gently. They must also be kept clean. I cover mine with a clean pillow case.
DEEP MUSCLE MASSAGE
This is a deep, intense use of massage used to knead and relax muscles and improve circulation. It can be painful. It is difficult to find someone who really does it well and it is a lot of work to do it on another person.
SHIATSU
This is massage of the energy channels or meridians of the body. It is a traditional form of massage that can be very excellent to help open and clear the energy channels of the body. I do this often on myself on the liver and kidney meridians, especially.
The liver meridian begins between the first and second toes on the top of each foot. It goes back toward the heel on the top of the foot and then up the outer side of each leg. On me, it is often painful to press on this area. Do both feet and legs.
The kidney meridian begins on the bottom of each foot near the middle of the foot. It goes up each leg on the inside side of each leg.
You can continue to press on these meridians as they move up the side energy channels on both sides up the abdomen, chest and to the neck on each side.
LYMPHATIC MASSAGE
The lymphatic system of most people is sluggish and this type of massage is specifically designed to help improve lymph circulation. This is excellent for detoxification and can benefit many health conditions.
Many lymph nodes are found on each side of the neck just below the ears and below that, under the arms, and at the leg creases.
DOWN MASSAGE
A theme of this website is the importance of moving subtle energy downward through the body from the head to the feet. This is the proper movement of subtle energy through the body and a key to understanding life and restoring health.
All development programs are designed to move energy downward using diet, lifestyle, nutritional supplements and the healing and development procedures.
Here is how to use massage to move energy properly through the body.
1. Only move the hands downward from the head to the feet during the massage.
2. When giving or receiving massage, visualize energy moving downward from the head to the feet. An excellent way to do this is for both the giver and the receiver to do the Pulling Down Procedure during the massage. This is not particularly relaxing, but it is very helpful for development.
3. Use a massage session to teach the one receiving massage the Pulling Down Procedure by pulling downward on body parts. This simulates the feeling that occurs when one does the pulling down procedure. One can pull down on the toes, feet, ankles, knees, hips, waist, shoulders, ears, lips, and nose. This can be a very helpful exercise for someone who is just learning the pulling down procedure.
4. Some people are aware of blockages of the subtle energy channels that run vertically from the head to the feet. If the giver or receiver of a massage is aware of these blockages, massage can be focused on these areas to help release them.
5. Some are able to anticipate where subtle energy will hit a blockage in the future. In this case, massage can target these areas.
6. Reflexology during a massage is excellent to assist the downward flow of subtle energy through the body. So are the Pulls, Pops, Twists and Kicks, which can be done as part of a massage session.
LIFE POINT MASSAGE
The life point is an area about four finger-widths below the navel along the midline of the body. It extends inside to one's back and is also found in the lumbar spinal area.
The life point is important for health and longevity. Massage of this area can help. I use an electric massage machine on this area.
ENERGY CENTER MASSAGE
Massaging the main energy centers or chakras – 1 through 7 - correctly can speed up development. They must all spin to the right. This can be done with movements and using visualization. For details, read Energy Center Massage.
ORGAN MASSAGE
One can massage organs of the body. Here are a few examples:
Liver massage. I use this every day after every coffee enema. It helps make coffee enemas pleasant and it allows me to have more than one coffee enema at a time without problems.
It consists of several movements:
- Tap on the liver area with both hands. Usually I do this gently, but it can be done more forcefully, as well. I usually do this while I am sitting on the toilet expelling a coffee enema. It is a form of liver massage.
- Tap on the kneecaps and top of the thighs using the entire palm and especially the heel of the hands. This area of the hands is the reflex area to the liver. The kneecaps and the top of the thighs near the knees are also liver reflex points. For details, read Liver Detoxification.
Colon massage. This is helpful during a coffee enema. You can knead the colon area or tap on it.
It will help clean up and tone the colon. It can help break up yeast colonies and deposits of debris in the colon. It also spreads coffee around the colon if you do it during a coffee enema.
Kidney massage. This is helpful for the kidneys, which are weak on most everyone. Knead or tap on the middle and low back on both sides of the body.
Lung massage. This is done in hospitals for people with lung congestion. It is usually done by tapping on the upper back, at times with some force.
Breast massage. This is very good for women because the rogues or negs or satan beat the breasts and traumatize them. Women tell us that gentle massage is excellent to help restore them.
Massage here and elsewhere can be used for psychodrama. This means it can duplicate a trauma in a way that helps one heal the trauma. For details, read Psychodrama.
Genital massage. Most people have some trauma and injury to this area of the body. Gentle massage of the area is helpful for relaxation and healing. Wear a glove for cleanliness.
Many, if not most women have damage to this area and need some massage of the area. The article about the Vagina has a section about massage of this area, which can be external or internal. It is done very gently and is not sexy.
The genital bath, one of best healing and development procedures, is a form of massage of the genital area. For details, read The Genital Bath.
Use of a bidet is also a massage of the genital area, although it focuses more on the pelvic floor. For details, read The Bidet Healing And Development Procedure.
REFLEXOLOGY
Foot and hand reflexology are very, very powerful, simple and safe ways to heal all types of health conditions. Reflexology is similar to massage, but may be more vigorous. I do this daily and have used it for years on myself and on others.
Daily reflexology is recommended for everyone as part of every development program. In fact, it is one of the most amazing therapies available.
Standard areas for doing reflex therapy are the hands and feet. However, the ears are a wonderful reflex area, as is the tail of an animal. For more details about this amazing and wonderful therapy, read Reflexology.
Family therapy. Foot and hand reflexology are excellent ways to help the health of one’s family and friends in a non-threatening and non-sexual manner that feels very good and involves therapeutic touch.
It is not sexy because one does not remove clothing, so it is safer than any other professional massage and can be truly wonderful.
For extra cleanliness, the person receiving the session can put on some thin socks so that the person giving the session is not touching the feet directly.
If you give someone a reflexology session, wash your hands thoroughly with plenty of soap and water BEFORE AND AFTER the session,. Also, be sure your fingernails are well trimmed and very clean.
Home versus professional reflexology. Some people offer professional reflexology. It is safer than professional massage because you don't take off clothing and body contact is limited to the feet. Just be sure it is clean.
Most professional reflexologists wash the feet first in a small foot bath or with a wet towel, hopefully with plenty of soap and hot water.
Ideally, add to the foot bath hydrogen peroxide that is sufficiently strong to disinfect the feet. One can use 3% peroxide or about ¼ cup of 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide, mixed with the water in a small basin or foot bath. The clients’ feet should stay in this foot bath for at least 10 minutes for proper disinfection.
One must still make sure, if possible, that the therapist’s hands are very clean and that infections on the hands of the therapist are not passed back and forth. One way to do this is for anyone offering professional hand and/or foot reflexology to wear thin, surgical gloves. Another idea is that the person receiving the therapy can wear socks or other clothing.
SKIN BRUSHING
This is a type of massage of the skin. You can do it in a sauna, in a shower, or anytime. It requires a body brush or wash rag.
A problem is that the brush quickly becomes dirty and infected. Recently I started using an X5 steam mop with the mop head removed to wet, clean and disinfect my body brush.
BIDET WATER MASSAGE
The bidet healing procedure is a type of massage of the floor of the pelvis using a bidet. It is superb for healing and development. For details, read The Bidet Healing Procedure.
JADE PILLOW MASSAGE
The jade pillow is a small area in the upper back along the spine. The fine silver cords that go to the souls connect to the body at this point.
This area is often tight and sometimes quite damaged. Massage can be helpful for its healing. It is hard to reach with your hands. I use a body brush.
FACIAL MASSAGE
Some people like this very much and say it is very relaxing. The face is also an important reflex system of the body.
Facial reflexes. The upper part of the face reflexes to the upper part of the body. The forehead reflexes to the brain. The eyes and below the eyes reflex to the liver and kidneys. The cheeks reflex to the lungs. The nose reflexes to the heart.
The ears reflex to the kidneys and the brain. However, the ears are also a complete reflex area to the entire body. Some acupuncture books contain a map of the ears. Basically, the top of the ears reflex to the top of the body. The bottom of the ears and ear lobes reflex to the lower organs of the body.
The lips reflex to the stomach. The mouth area reflexes to the intestines. The chin area reflexes to the lower abdomen and sexual organs.
MASSAGE IN THE SHOWER USING A SHOWER MASSAGER
A shower massager replaces the shower head in a shower. It has a long hose that one holds and with which one directs the spray. This is an excellent device. It is inexpensive and fairly simple to install by yourself. Cool water is especially healing for the body.
STEAM MASSAGE
If you have a steam mop with a removable head such as the Shark X5 H2O mop, you can use it to apply steam to the body. It is very cleansing and we are researching it at this time. For details, read The Steam Healing And Development Procedure.
SALT GLOW
This is rubbing salt or a salt bar on the skin. I am told it is very relaxing and nourishing for the skin. It can be done after a shower or at any time. It is not necessary to wash off the salt. For details, read The Salt Glow.
PSYCHODRAMA
Massage of any area of the body can be part of the use of psychodrama for healing. Psychodrama means duplicating a trauma or incident. Doing it correctly is excellent to enable the souls to process traumas. For details, read Psychodrama.
ROLFING OR STRUCTURAL INTEGRATION
This is a form of very deep bodywork that has some aspects of massage in it. However, the goal is to impact and actually separate the fascia layers, which can become adhered to each other. The fascia are layers of tissue that cover the organs and muscles. For details, read Adhesions and Energy Locks.
For those with chronically poor posture, and those for whom chiropractic is not enough to correct certain problems, Rolfing or Structural Integration can be wonderful. It is organized into 10 beginning sessions, which can be followed by more advanced sessions that just go deeper.
Types of bodywork that are related to this include deep muscle therapy and myofascial release. All of these can be helpful to release adhesions in the body that can cause pain, restriction of motion and many other problems.
Rolfing and Structural Integration are done wearing only underwear, so this is a problem for young women, especially. Also, Rolfers and other body workers touch bodies all day long, so there is a good possibility they can pass infections from person to person. For these reasons, I cannot recommend this excellent therapy too much.
If you want Rolfing, please research carefully whom you go to, and I would consider bringing along a friend, especially if you are a young woman. Mothers or fathers must accompany children for safety reasons, as well.
REIKI, LAYING ON OF HANDS, AND OTHER METHODS
While these can have value, we do not suggest going to a professional for them today. There is too much rogue infiltration of the massage and reiki professions and people who go for these therapies can easily receive implants in the body and worse. Other problems of massage can also occur.
JIN SHIN JYUTSU
This is an ancient Japanese method of healing that involves holding certain points on the body until one feels an energy moving between one's fingers. It is much safer than massage because one keeps all of one's clothing on and because there is no rubbing.
IV. COMBINING MASSAGE WITH OTHER THERAPIES
THE SPA EXPERIENCE
You can use massage to help turn your home into a spa where you pamper yourself and heal yourself. We strongly recommend this.
We believe it is needed and it makes following the development program much more enjoyable.
For example, it is easy to combine with massage: coffee enemas, down hugs or down sex, red heat lamp therapy or sauna therapy and the spinal twists. It is also easy to add music and possibly skin feeding to your massage. Skin feeding is putting kelp or other nutritious substances on the skin to assist nutrition.
1. Infection. Professional massage therapists touch several or more naked or almost naked bodies each day. Some of these clients have infections on their skin that easily pass to a massage therapist, who in turn can pass them on to other clients.
A massage therapist may not realize that he or she has a skin infection. It would help if all massage clients showered just before their massage, but this is rare. This is a problem with all body work today.
It does not seem to matter much if the masseuse uses massage oils that are supposedly antiseptic. Washing the hands and arms between clients with a strong solution of hydrogen peroxide, followed by soap and water, would help. Thin gloves would also help.
Otherwise, it is very hard for concerned massage therapists to protect themselves and their clients from infection.
For cleanliness and safety reasons, we would avoid or be extremely careful with all professional massage, since this is a problem, even if few are aware of it.
2. Energetic problems. Massage therapists often pick up stray energies and entities from clients easily, again because direct touch is involved. Then a massage therapist can easily pass these on to the next client.
This occurs without the conscious knowledge of either the client or the therapist, in most cases. I experienced this myself. I realize many massage therapists mean very well, and do excellent healing work. However, these problems exist.
I experienced the problem from an acupuncturist who was treating several clients at the same time, moving from one to the other.
3. Sexy. Professional massage can be and often is very sexy for both the person giving massage and the person receiving it.
4. Predators, molestation and rape. Having a massage license from the state is no guarantee of competence or integrity (The same is true of any medical professional).
This is part of the false promise of licensing. It may help weed out a few “bad apples”, but it also covers up and hides a lot of bad practices. For more on licensing, read The Case Against Medical Licensing on this site.
While some massage therapists are wonderful, any time a person takes off all or most clothing, there is more at risk for sexual predation, solicitation for sex, molestation and rape.
Young women – 12 to 35 or 40 years of age – are at the highest risk. However, it occurs with anyone, today. In fact, a person can be “recruited” into cults using sophisticated brainwashing techniques that can be done during a massage, believe it or not.
It can also occur if a woman receives a massage from another woman. In one case I know of, a female massage therapist had a male ‘friend’ who hid in a closet and, once a client undressed, the two raped the client and then forced her to keep silent about what happened.
We do not mean to be negative, but we hear about these cases, and they are real. We are not trying to demean massage, but we do want to protect people. While some massage therapists are completely honest and straight, for reasons of safety alone, we cannot recommend professional massage, especially for young women.
If you wish to have a professional massage, bring a friend along. The person can read a book or text their friends during the session. Do not tell the massage therapist you will do this ahead of time.
HOME MASSAGE DANGERS
This can be an excellent method of healing and bonding between a couple. It can be done between a parent and a child, but there are problems. For example, it will condition a child to sexy touch and the child may not realize the dangers that exist with massage by people outside of the family. It can be too sexy even within the family, even wearing some clothing.
Giving a family or couples massage. We recommend the following precautions:
1. The one giving the massage must wash the hands thoroughly for at least a minute with soap and warm water, almost like you will do surgery. Also, be sure the fingernails are trimmed closely and are perfectly clean. Use a nail brush, perhaps, to make sure they are clean.
2. Ideally, use soap as a lubricant, rather than massage oil. Soap is very antiseptic, unlike massage oils that actually can spread bacteria and fungi. If the soap gets too thick, just put a little warm water with it and it thins out easily.
3. If possible, mix your soap solution with some 35% hydrogen peroxide to make it even more antiseptic. The massage also now becomes an oxygen therapy, which is also excellent.
4. Have a spray bottle of 3% peroxide close by and spray the person during the massage. This is also for preventing infections.
5. Be sure the sheets, bed cover, massage table or other surface the person will lie upon is very clean.
For the one receiving a massage:
1. If possible, shower before getting a massage. This will remove a lot of bacteria from the skin. Couples can shower together, and it becomes part of the massage experience.
2. Both partners, and parents and children, should ideally follow a complete development program. In addition to the diet, lifestyle, and supplement program, the daily use of a near infrared sauna will slowly heal skin infections of all kinds.
The development program, and not most others, slowly, but dramatically reduces the number of infections in and on the bodies. It will also help protect anyone receiving a massage so that infections do not take hold as easily.
Over a few years time, massage becomes progressively safer as one’s health improves.
3. If the one giving the massage notices infections on the skin or other suspicious lesions, one can use a little black salve to remove most fungal, bacterial or other skin infections. Most people today have up to a dozen skin infections.
MASSAGE FOR HEALING RAPE
Some people object to my mentioning rape and massage in the same article. However, I do so here for therapeutic reasons. Some rapes traumatize the skin, the fascia, the muscles and the bony structure of the body.
The proper type of massage can be most useful to help heal some of the traumas of rape. However, all the same warnings and cautions apply. For more on this topic, please read Healing Rape on this website.
