CLEANLINESS IS NEXT TO GODLINESS

Cleanliness is a very critical topic. Just a few of the reasons are:
1. Cleanliness prevents an immense amount of disease. It also mitigates diseases and avoids complications of diseases and surgeries.
At this time, greater cleanliness may save one’s life if the corona virus continues to spread.
2. Cleanliness prevents a great deal of accidents. Many accidents are the result of slippery steps, slippery floors, objects such as wires left in one’s way, and so forth.
This article discusses some methods to stay clean, and is divided into various categories, some of which overlap to a degree.
CLEANLINESS AND DEVELOPMENT
A major reason to follow a development program is that you will be much more protected from infections. The reasons are:
1. The immune response will improve dramatically.
2. The ability of the skin to resist infection improves dramatically.
3. Your mind will work better, leading to better cleanliness decisions.
4. You will get rid of many chronic infections that you are unaware of and are unknowingly are spreading to others. Most people have at least 50 infections! They are in the eyes, ears, sinuses, throat, mouth, bronchials, lungs, intestines, skin, genitals and elsewhere. 5. You will eat much better, avoiding many food-borne infections.
6. Your lifestyle will improve, and this will avoid many dangerous situations that spread disease.
Hydrogen peroxide. You will need plenty of 3% hydrogen peroxide. Put some in a spray bottle. You can use it when you shower and to clean surfaces. It kills germs and is very non-toxic.
Soap. NOTE: NEW (March 2020) The rogues have damaged Pine Tar soap, which we formerly recommended. We no longer recommend it.
An excellent non-toxic soap is called 18X Extreme and is made of soap nuts. Plain castille soap is good, as are many standard brands of soap. Most homemade soap is also very good. Be careful with soap that is heavily scented such as peppermint soap. The essential oils are all slightly toxic and plain, unscented soap is generally better.
Detergent. We are finding that these are all somewhat toxic to the liver and bad for the environment. This includes those labeled “all natural”.
We do not recommend their use for laundry, dishes or other purposes unless for certain cleaning jobs where you will not touch the product. For details, read Detergents.
Steam mop. This is about the best for floors. Other mops will work, but we don’t think they are quite as good as a steam mop.
Scrubbers. These are very good for dishes and for washing other types of surfaces.
Wash or at lease rinse off all fresh food when you get it home. You can spray food with 3% hydrogen peroxide. Organic food requires less rinsing, but a quick rinse with water is a good idea. Pesticides usually cannot be rinsed off food. However, some food today is treated with chemicals that can be washed off.
Cook properly most of your food. We do not advocate eating any raw food except for some raw dairy products.
One of the reasons, though not the main one, is that raw food is much less clean. It often harbors bacteria, viruses and parasites. Just washing fruits and vegetables, particularly fruits, with peroxide or bleach may not get rid of all the infections found on food. This is more of a problem today because food is grown far away and travels, sometimes for days, to reach us. At each step of the journey, the food can pick up infections.
Keep food in clean containers or bags. This should be obvious, but sometimes it is not. Especially in warm climates, natural foods can easily pick up insect larvae and other pests if not kept properly.
Always refrigerate leftovers quickly. Do not leave foods out on the counter any longer than necessary. Keep your refrigerator as close to freezing as possible. Also, do not store water for too long, as it will tend to support bacterial growth that is quite dangerous. Wipe off food that gets on counters quickly, if possible, to avoid the same problems.
Drinking Water. This is another source of infection for millions of people around the world. Adding chlorine, as is done in most Western nations, is helpful to kill some germs, but damages the water and is somewhat toxic. It is also not enough to purify some water.
If you are not sure of the purity of your water, two methods to purify easily are to let it sit and then pour off the water without the sediment. Then boil it. This will not remove most toxic metals and toxic chemicals, but it will kill most pathogenic germs.
Other ways we suggest to purify water are carbon filters, sand filters and bubbling ozone through water. Never drink lake or pond or even river water unless you know it is safe. Even if no human beings live nearby, animals frequently contaminate water supplies.
Swimming pools and hot tubs. STAY AWAY FROM ALL PUBLIC POOLS AND HOT TUBS IN PLACES SUCH AS HOTELS AND SPAS. THESE ARE NEVER CLEAN. It does not matter how much chlorine, bromine or other sanitizers are used. Stay away completely if you don’t want to acquire many hard-to-cure infections in the eyes, ears, nose, throat, genitals, and elsewhere.
Private pools and hot tubs may be better, but are usually very unclean, as well. If you must use one, make sure you are the only person who is using it. Do not share it.
For bathing and swimming, a much better idea is go to the ocean, to a lake, to a river, or to a hot spring that is clean. The water must flow continuously. Lakes and stream are only safe if the water flows fast and if animals or people upstream do not bathe in the water.
Homes, kitchens and bathrooms. Change bed sheets at least once a week. Buy thin towels, not the heavy, fluffy ones. This way you can change them often and they don’t take up a lot of space in a washing machine.
Clean the bathroom every few days, at least, and clean the floors and kitchen at least once a week. In the bathroom, be sure to clean the toilet seat and the flusher handle.
Kitchen counters, sponges, stove tops and surfaces such as cutting boards are frequent sources of germs. Keep them all clean. Sponges can be placed in the washing machine with your clothing to wash them well.
Use peroxide or soap on dishes and on clothing. Do not use detergents, as explained above. Use WARM or HOT water whenever possible for all washing.
MEN. Sit down on the toilet all the time! Men are notoriously sloppy in this area and it causes nothing but anger and rage in their women friends and wives. Please, men, sit to urinate! If you must stand up, you must 1) wipe the head of the penis and 2) wipe the entire toilet bowl and floor area afterwards.
Men should always use one square of toilet paper to wipe the head of the penis. Hold it there for at least 10 seconds to absorb any drops that remain in the urethra. Mothers and fathers: please train your boys to do this.
Clothing and other items. You need not wash your clothes each time them are worn, as some people do. However, keep them as clean as possible at all times. Wash them with peroxide or soap because all detergents are toxic. We like soap nuts or a product called 18X Extreme made from soap nuts for the least toxic soap. Do not wear other people’s clothing without washing them first.
Wear light-colored clothing. One reason is the light colors show the dirt much more than darker colors. Wearing all white will also simplify laundering. Underwear can be rinsed out in the sink and then placed in the washing machine to get rid of urine and other stains. For details, read Clothing.
This is a very important area of life. As a rule, you will observe that the most advanced societies are cleaner. Less advanced societies are often filthy. This is a very good way to evaluate a culture or society, although it is not the only quality of an advanced society.
For example, communist societies such as the former Soviet Union and present-day communist China were and are filthy places to live. The same is true of most dictatorships such as Mexico. India has a problem with cleanliness, as do most non-Hebrew and non-Christian nations. The Bible teaches cleanliness and for a good reason – it works.
Hands. Wash your hands at least five or six times daily, and get in the habit of doing so after each time that you use the bathroom.
Also, always wash when you come home after being out or with others. Washing hands is even more important if you use public transportation such as trains, buses or airplanes, or in a theater or any location where others have recently been. Always wash thoroughly with hydrogen peroxide or soap, leave the soap on your hands for at least 10 seconds, and use warm or hot water.
Face. Wash your face often with 3% hydrogen peroxide or soap. When you wash your face, always move your hands downward. Never move your hands upward. Moving hands upward easily causes eye infections with bacteria that land on your face. Do not rub your eyes with dirty hands, as this easily spreads infections.
Shower daily or at least every other day. For details, read How To Take A Shower. We suggest avoiding public showers. This includes showering in any school locker room or health clubs or spas. We know that this means avoiding school sports and avoiding health clubs and spas, but we think this is by far the best.
Hotel and motel showers are much better because they are cleaned daily. However, if you stay in a hotel, notice if the shower area looks clean and clean it before using it, if needed. Always carry hydrogen peroxide with you when traveling or purchase it if you can when you arrive.
Baths are nice, but there are several important problems with baths:
1. They are very yin. For this reason, mainly, do not take baths more than twice a week.
2. You will pick up chemicals in the water when you take a bath. This is another reason to limit their use to twice a week maximum, and take shorter baths if you take them at all. Do not lounge in the tub for an hour, for example.
Razors. Do not use electric razors. They are virtually impossible to keep clean. Never use other people’s electric shavers or straight razors.
Bedding. If possible, sleep in your own bed. Change all bedding weekly, if possible. Pillows tend to get dirty the fastest. If possible, do without a pillow. Also, wash bedspreads and other linens you will contact often.
Teeth. Brush teeth daily and floss teeth at least once daily. Use a good natural toothpaste, or just hydrogen peroxide or soap or a mixture of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide.
Hair. Comb the hair daily. This is important for cleanliness, as well as for appearance.
Wiping. Always wipe your bottom thoroughly after a bowel movement. Otherwise, fecal material stays around and can be infected. The best idea is to use a bidet toilet attachment. This is an inexpensive water spray unit that attaches to many toilets and sprays your bottom with water. It works excellently once you get used to it – much better than any toilet paper! They cost about $40-60.00 USD.
Sexual hygiene. This is critical today. STDs are a major health crisis today, but the truth is suppressed. They damage the brain and body, and shorten your life. Many cause no or very few symptoms. One-fourth to one-half of Western people have them by the age of 24. This is mainly due to loose morals and sloppy habits.
Never believe anyone who says they have no sexually transmitted diseases or STDs. First of all, this is rare. Secondly, it is not possible to know this as many are subtle. Today these diseases are everywhere – on toilet seats, door knobs, toilet flushers, and definitely in hot tubs and swimming pools and public showers. So be careful.
AVOID anal sex and oral sex, both of which spread a lot of disease. Also avoid any other unclean sexual practices. Ideally, wash the genital area thoroughly after sex, and keep sex as healthful as possible so as not to spread disease.
The only really safe sex is no sex, including no kissing, and not even holding hands with some people who are terribly infected today. We know this sounds very strict, but it is true.
Many people have sores on their lips and in their mouths that they will not tell you about. Many people also have vaginal and penis infections of which they are not even aware. STDs can also manifest as simple skin diseases that are spread when people sleep with each other or are otherwise intimate. For details, read STDs.
We only recommend Down Sex unless you want to conceive a child. This is a much safer, much healthier and enjoyable practice once you get used to it. For details, read Down Sex.
WORK AND SCHOOL
These places are often dirty, if not filthy. If possible, work at home and home-school children. This section will be expanded.
It is very difficult to stay clean when traveling!
Vehicles. Automobile travel is the best in this regard. Aircraft, buses, trains and ships are notoriously dirty and not cleaned nearly enough. They are very difficult to keep clean.
Hotels and motels. These vary. The same is true of bed and breakfast arrangements and staying in other people’s homes.
Restaurants. The seats and tables in restaurants are also notoriously unclean. Many of them should be shut down for this reason. They should use loads of hydrogen peroxide sprayed everywhere after every use.
Bathrooms. Most public bathrooms are very unclean. If possible, always use your own bathroom BEFORE you go out to town or when traveling.
Museums, amusement parks, theaters, sports stadiums and most public places. Almost all of these are unclean. You must assume they are all unclean and take precautions.
Nutritional balancing stresses internal, as well as external, cleanliness. Ways to do this are quite simple, but most people do not want to do them. However, you will speed up your healing dramatically, in most cases, if you add them to your daily routine. They seem to be necessary today for many people in order to regain and maintain optimum health.
1. Daily coffee enemas. Done properly, these will cleanse the colon and liver, and extend your life significantly. Done properly, they will not wreck the bowel, or cause dependency, or cause bowel perforation or other problems that I have read about. Clients have done them daily for 30 years without problems. They take a little getting used to, and then they are quite easy.
Do not substitute colonic irrigation for coffee enemas, because colonics involve too much water in most cases, which is too yin. There is nothing wrong with occasional colonic irrigation, but do not do it more than about 10 times annually. In most cases, it is not needed if you do daily coffee enemas or at least a few coffee enemas weekly. This is not enough, however, for some people’s healing.

2. Daily near infrared sauna sessions. These are also quite amazing in their effects. They not only clean the skin, put penetrate a few inches inside the body. Far infrared saunas and traditional saunas and steam baths are not as good for various reasons. 3. Other internal cleansing. Rinse your mouth out after eating anything sweet, and preferably avoid most sweets. Douching is mentioned under sexual hygiene, and is a good idea for women after sex, during periods and any time there is an infection in this area.
