I. INTRODUCTION
DEFINITION
As above, so below is a very important principle of physics. It means that the way life is organized on a large scale is mirrored or is the same as the way life is organized at a smaller or lower level of life.
For example, the organs of a tiny microscopic animal function similarly to the way the organs function on a much larger human being.
HERMES
Hermes was a Greek scientist who lived about four thousand years ago. He studied and wrote about the idea of As Above, So Below. As a result, this principle is associated with his name and called The Hermetic Principle. We will use this term, at times, in this article.
II. RELATION TO OUTER SPACE AND THE FINE MATTER WORLD
A very important application of the Hermetic principle is the way in which living bodies function in the universe. To understand this, one needs to know that there exists two basic types of bodies on planets and in outer space:
THE TWO TYPES OF BODIES
Bodies found on earth and in space are made of two types of matter. Some are made of coarse matter, such as our own and the bodies of all the earth animals and plants.
Others are made of fine matter. This is a much less dense form of matter. As a result, it cannot easily be seen by most people. Elves, angels and souls are examples of bodies that are made of fine matter. There are thousands more creatures and plants made of fine matter found in outer space. ALL BODIES ARE SIMILAR
A wonderful example of the principle, As Above, So Below, is that all sizes of coarse and fine matter bodies function similarly. For example:
- They all eat food, breathe air, and drink water.
- They all have skin, eyes, ears, nose, hair, and similar internal organs.
- They all reproduce sexually and use similar methods – either they use eggs or they use live births.
MAKING IT EASY TO WORK WITH ALL BODIES
The Hermetic principle makes it much easier to understand and work with animals, plants and other non-human forms of life. We hope to expand this article in the future.
