MEN SHOULD BE SHIELDS, PROTECTORS AND POLES FOR WOMEN

Men and women need each other for various reasons. One of those reasons is protection. Understanding this clearly will enhance any marriage, business partnership or friendship.

MEN ARE PHYSICALLY STRONGER, AND THEIR ROLE MUST BE ONE OF PROTECTION

This should be obvious. Men should always physically protect women, preventing any kind of abuse, rape or anything else damaging. This is an obvious role of a man in a marriage, business situation, friendship or any other encounter or situation. It includes protecting women from the man’s own selfish impulses.

MENTALLY AND SPIRITUALLY, MEN AND WOMEN CAN AND SHOULD PROTECT ONE ANOTHER

In the mental and spiritual arenas, men are not necessarily stronger or more aware. In these areas, men should protect women, but women should protect men, as well. Once again, it includes protecting others from your own selfish impulses.

MEN SHOULD ACT AS STABILIZERS OR POLES FOR WOMEN

A pole, such as a flagpole, is straight, strong, somewhat flexible but not wishy-washy, and firmly grounded or rooted. Men need to be somewhat like this for women.

While the flagpole analogy is not quite accurate, it is not far from the actual structure of the male body, in relation to the female body. The male is stronger, less flexible, taller, straighter and harder to move. The female structure is shorter, usually more flexible, and often more easily influenced and swayed.

This is due, in part, to the fact that women tend to have higher copper levels and lower zinc levels than men. Copper is a softer, more malleable element than zinc. As men and women develop, this difference between them lessens. For details about development, read Introduction To Development.

When men act as poles for their women, the women are usually much happier and much healthier.

However, there are some women who do not want a stable, straight, somewhat inflexible man in their life. They prefer a wimp whom they can manipulate. If you are this kind of woman, please think about it carefully because the type of man you desire is not going to protect you very well. In most cases, you will become bored and disappointed with him sooner or later and regret your decision to marry him, or even be involved with him at all.
