I. INTRODUCTION

Recently we have had difficulty with our tap water. As a result, the author has been bathing using sponge baths and occasionally spray baths. These work well, and are very clean and fast.

II. SPONGE BATHS

ADVANTAGES

- They can be much cleaner than using tap water for bathing. The quality of tap water varies depending upon your location. With the sponge bath, you control which water you use.

- Uses very little water.

- It exposes the body to much less water. This has a more yang effect on the body, which is helpful.

- Less need for towels to dry the body because much less water is used.

- Sitting in the tub is relaxing, more so than standing in a shower.

- Sitting down is much safer than standing in a shower.

- While sitting, it is easy to wash the feet, especially between the toes. This is important at this time because the alien group some call the thugs, crud, rogues or satans put equipment between the toes.

DISADVANTAGES

Sponge and spray baths are a little more effort because there is no high-pressure spray. One must also take a few minutes to warm a pot of water for a sponge bath.

III. SPONGE BATH PROCEDURE

SETTING UP THE TUB

1. Place a small stool or seat near the back of a bathtub to sit on. This is more comfortable than sitting on the floor of the tub.

2. I set up three reddish heat lamps facing into the bathtub. This warms the bathing area and provides excellent healing frequencies, as well.

OTHER MATERIALS

- A bar of soap. We recommend Grandpa's Pine Tar Soap.

- Two kitchen sponges or other sponges for washing the body,

- A body brush with a long handle to wash your back.

- A spray bottle of fresh water and spray bottle of vinegar.

- A toe brush is also good.

TIME REQUIRED

This procedure takes about 15 to 25 minutes.

PROCEDURE

1. Fill a pot with about 1.5 liters or 1.5 quarts of clean water. One can use spring water or carbon-filtered tap water if it is fairly clean.

2. Warm the water on the stove until it is somewhat hot, but not so hot that one cannot touch it.

3. Bring the pot to the bathtub and set it between the drain and the stool you will sit on.

4. Climb into the tub. For safety, wear rubber or plastic shoes in the tub such as flip-flops.

5. Before sitting down, put water and soap on the buttocks area. Use plenty of soap. By doing this first, one can sit in the tub and wash the rest of the body without having to get up to wash the buttocks.

6. Add a little Grandpa Pine Tar Soap to the water. A lot is not needed.

7. Use the sponges, one in each hand, to wash the entire body. The procedure is to dip the sponges into the hot soapy water. Then wash an area.

After washing each area, squeeze out the sponge into the bathtub (not back into the clean water). This sends dirty water down the drain. Then dip the sponge again into the soapy water to continue. This will keep the bath water clean.

I begin with the genital area. I use extra soap and leave it on. The reason is the genitals pick up quite a bit of toxic material and need more thorough washing.

Then wash the head. Then do the arms. Then do the front of the body. Then do the part of the back that you can reach with sponges. Then use the body brush to wash the rest of the back that you cannot reach with your hands.

Then wash the legs and feet with the sponge. Be sure to rub the sponge all over the feet thoroughly. For better washing of the toes, use the body body brush and perhaps a toe brush.

8. Optional, but very good: Wash your shoes with soapy water and then spray with vinegar for extra cleaning.

9. Stand up and wash the soap off the buttocks.

10. Sit down and again thoroughly wash the genital area. It is best to apply more soap to the genitals, leave it for 2 minutes, and then wash it off.

11. You are now done. Spray the sponge and body brush with a little vinegar to clean them. Throw away any remaining hot water.

12. Get out of the tub and dry off. The sponge bath uses so little water you may not need to dry off much.

IV. SPRAY BATH PROCEDURE

If you do not have time for a sponge bath or shower, a spray bath is an alternative that works fairly well.

ADVANTAGES

Using 3% hydrogen peroxide to spray the body is an oxygen bath. This will feel very good and is excellent for the body.

Using white, distilled vinegar for a spray bath is also excellent and very cleansing.

MATERIALS

- A spray bottle containing soapy water, 3% hydrogen peroxide, or white, distilled vinegar. This is the standard vinegar sold in stores.

- Possibly a sponge, or you can use your hands to spread the water.

- ideally, have a body brush with a long handle to wash your upper back.

PROCEDURE

- Warm the bathroom or at least the tub or shower area.

- One can warm up a spray bottle of soapy water, peroxide or vinegar by placing it in front of (BUT NOT TOUCHING) a reddish heat lamp for about 10 minutes.

- Remove clothing and sit down in the tub or shower area.

- Spray the body with soapy water, hydrogen peroxide or vinegar. Start with the head and work down the body. Caution: Do not get peroxide or vinegar in the eyes.

- Wipe the body with your hands or with a sponge. Wipe the upper back with a body brush.

- Get out of the tub or shower area and dry off.
