A recent trend is to take capsules or a teaspoon or so of turmeric every day. Turmeric is an Indian spice that contains antioxidants, anti-inflammatory substances and other things.
In our experience, sprinkling a little turmeric or curry powder on food is okay. However, taking more than this amount of turmeric even once a day is harmful for development.
YIN
The main reason for harm from turmeric is that this herb is quite yin, as are most herbs and spices. Yin means that the energy of the product is expanded, centrifugal in motion, and ÔcoldÕ.
Turmeric is somewhat more yang than
some other spices because it is a root. However, it is still a yin
substance. Yin or yang is more than where a plant grows. It has to
do with its chemistry, as well.
Today, all of the bodies are already too yin. This is the result of:
- A nutritionally-depleted food supply
- Ionizing radiation from A-bombs and other nuclear power sources,
- Toxic chemicals and toxic metals in the environment
- A lot of electromagnetic stress from cell phones, cell phone towers, televisions, computers and more. These affect everyone on earth!
As a result, adding more yin energy in the form of a lot of turmeric slows development. It does not matter what other beneficial substances it contains.
