Many people love their sunglasses. However, sunlight is actually a nutrient and wearing sunglasses interferes with our bodyŐs ability to receive the sunŐs rays. As a result, one can develop illness simply as a consequence of wearing sunglasses. Please donŐt wear sunglasses, except maybe for very extreme situations.
The work of John Ott. John Ott worked for Disney producing movies. He was in the habit of wearing sunglasses, and he suffered from arthritis.
One
day, while walking on a beach, he broke his sunglasses and had to continue
walking without them. To his
amazement, his arthritic symptoms improved. He began to research this topic, and wrote a wonderful book
called Health And Light: The Extraordinary Study That Shows How Light Affects
Your Health And Emotional Well-Being.
He also has an earlier
book, Light, Radiation And You: How To
Stay Healthy
WHAT ABOUT AVOIDING CATARACTS?
Doctors routinely advise people to wear sunglasses in order to avoid cataracts. We disagree with this policy.
To avoid cataracts, eat a lot of cooked vegetables and ideally follow a complete development program. This will provide the nutrients needed to avoid cataracts.
