Magnesium stearate is a common substance used as a filler, binder and lubricant to make vitamin and other tablets. Several websites, including Dr. Mercola’s, are claiming that magnesium stearate is a horrible poison that can ruin your immune system, upset your glands and contains hydrogenated oil.
None of this is true, at least it is not true of the magnesium stearate used in Endomet products that are recommended with a nutritional balancing program. I know this because:
1. I spoke with the manufacturer of Endomet supplements, and the magnesium stearate used in Endomet products is made with palm oil. This is a naturally saturated fat, not a hydrogenated oil. Small amounts of palm oil are not harmful at all.
2. Most important, all of our clients’ immune response and glandular systems improve the most on these products – better than when people use other brands, even very fancy brands of products. So it is obvious that not only is the magnesium stearate not toxic, it is not harmful at all.
Sadly, one must be careful reading any information on the internet. For example, most people do not realize that pharmaceutical companies own probably close to 1000 websites. These sites continually post various “warnings” about vitamin and mineral supplements that are completely phony.
Often, their real agenda is to confuse people, sell their own products, and often to discourage people from taking care of their health with natural substances. That way, people will have to use more drugs, which the drug companies want. So please read all websites with skepticism, especially those what warn against the use of simple vitamins, minerals, and other natural products.
