I. INTRODUCTION

DEFINITION

The return is a special time in every person's life. It occurs after four seven-year cycles of life. This means it occurs at age 28 to about 30 or 31. It occurs again after eight seven-year cycles and this can repeat. However, these returns are usually less important and less intense.

The return is a type of review of one's life. One also usually matures during this time.

The return may be viewed as a rite of passage or initiation that everyone must pass through to reach their 30s. It is not always noticed. However, many people experience symptoms or other challenges at this time in their life.

OTHER NAMES

In the science of astrology, the return is called the Saturn return. Other cultures may use other names for it.

SYMPTOMS OR CHALLENGES

These may include almost anything at any level of one's being 1-7. for example, physical challenges can include illness, accidents, loss of a job, career or something else, or financial problems.

Emotional and mental challenges can include a need to change one's emotions, attitudes, beliefs or way of thinking. There can also be challenges to the ego, challenges involving family and friends, and spiritual changes.

II. WHAT TO DO

If you know you are going into your return, you may be able to relax more if your situation becomes more challenging or scary. Know that it is a time of review and maturing. Often you will become aware of mistakes you have made or changes that are needed in order to move on in your life.
